Lime Plaster
We apply traditional lime plaster using the 3-coat system — scratch coat, brown coat and finish coat. Using quicklime, sand and horsehair, the result is a breathable, durable finish that works with the building rather than against it. The right approach for any period or historic property.
Lime Render
We apply lime render externally to older and historic buildings using traditional mortars and techniques. Lime render allows walls to breathe and moisture to escape — protecting the structure in a way that modern cement render simply can't.
Lime Pointing & Repointing
We repoint stone and brick using lime mortar matched to the original mix. Cement pointing traps moisture and damages historic masonry — lime pointing is the correct and sympathetic solution for any pre-1920s structure.
Limewash
We apply traditional limewash to internal and external surfaces, providing a breathable, natural finish that has been used on historic buildings for centuries. Each coat builds depth and character — a finish that improves with age.
